    The wall and ceiling material is 1x6 ship lap with a 1/8" gap between the boards. Inside the shower we milled Corian to match the the wooden shiplap coming in from each side.

      Is the ship board nailed to sheet rock? And what species of wood was used for the ship board? Thank you!

      The ship lap was milled from Poplar (a common interior specie) and was screwed directly to the studs.

      Can you buy shiplap at a lumber store, or do you cut it from sheets? I see shiplap in many houses now a days but have been curious as to what the professionals use for this.

      Where you nervous using wood on the floor? I think it looks great and would love to use it but everyone I speak with advises against it.
