We're planning an open concept kitchen renovation. I'd like to keep the existing terracotta floor in the kitchen and plan to replace carpet in LR & DR with wood look tile planks. I would also like to use a butcherblock countertop on the island and a soft gray engineered quartz (Concrete-look) countertop along the backwall for durability by sink/range. Cabinets will all be soft white (BM white dove). Wood tile and butcherblock are similar tones. Tile coordinates well with terracotta, but I think I might have too many different things going on. Any advice on how to pull off this look successfully?
