How about vertical textile blinds / jalousie with your favourite art printed on it?
Something like the picture on the left spread across 5 or 6 slats would look very stylish in that room.

Could you share the dimensions of the room and describe the look your going for? It's really hard to guess what you might like otherwise.

So that the window is not as prominent/focal, I would add a great graphic wallpaper on that wall and just a simple roman blind. A solid rug in a light grey may be nice. You may want to center your picture and lower for a more modern feel. If you can't get a new chandelier, you could consider spraying it black, lower it if you can and look for black shades (you could also spray with gold paint inside). These ideas may not be your taste; I was working off your picture and thought you may like these choices. If you can advise what you would like to see in this room, it may help people to make suggestions.
