I think the Restoration Hardware fixtures are great, but you may be able to get very similar products through some of our local fixture stores, such as The Fixture Gallery on Stone Way. It sounds like you are doing a pretty high end remodel with the marble floors. I would think $1600 for fixtures might not be out of line. Good luck.

I'm actually kind of going for a relaxed beachy feel. Do you think I might be better going with just plain white hexagons on the floor and subway around the tub with beadboard and then put the high end fixtures in? Or don't waste the money ? This reno stuff is maddening! There are too many choices!

Hmm. Carrara marble will be gorgeous, but I think of it as more elegant than beachy. White hexagon floor, subway tile and beadboard feels more vintage and relaxed. Both would certainly go with many of the Restoration Hardware fixtures, but it's all a question of the effect you are trying to produce. Have you picked out any houzz bathroom photos for inspiration? That might help narrow down your sense of infinite choices (and I certainly understand how paralyzing that can be--it took me almost six years to commit to renovating our kitchen only because I just couldn't decide what I wanted).

Very pretty, and I see how the marble is being used in a more relaxed context here. But if it is the relaxed feel you are looking for and the marble subway tile is turning out to be prohibitively expensive, I think you could achieve a similarly relaxed, beachy effect without the marble tile. For example, you might choose a different subway tile (glass? maybe aqua colored or white with some aqua accent trim?). I haven't priced these out, so I don't know for sure it would be cheaper, but it is something you might look into if the project is just getting too expensive.
