Can you please share the color of the paint above the windows in the breakfast nook? Such a pretty blue!

    Really? In the BM fan deck and online, Mountain Mist looks like a green-grey color. Wow, what a difference to see it in an actual room!

    When picking pale colors, it's good that the color has a drop of grey or beige in the tone, as it prevents the color from becoming sherbert-y or baby-ish. Another tip is to look one tone darker on the color wheel to have a truer sense of what a color will feel like once painted on an entire wall. In this room, we wanted a warmer blue, so we looked to colors with a drop of yellow (thus the green you mentioned). In other areas of the house where we wanted cooler blues, we looked to those that err-ed toward silver or lilac to achieve the actual blue tone we wanted. Good luck!
