Olivia, it's great that you are interested in design at such a young age. If you want to be a designer when you grow up, there are a lot of resources to help you to achieve that goal. You might also want to take a look at your high school curriculum and add a few math and history courses. Those are very useful to a potential designer. English is, of course, of primary use to anyone who needs to make a public presentation, or create a written document outlining your design proposal for a client. If your school offers art courses, those would be more of a fun addition that can also be very helpful long term. There's a lot of work that goes into becoming a designer, so it's important to also pick mini projects that are enjoyable for you to practice with. Like your house plan that you are working on!
