We are remodeling our house and decided to put wood floors upstairs but prefer tile for downstairs because of the high traffic. We really like the look of the wood porcelain tiles. is it OK to use wood tile downstairs and tell wood floors upstairs?

the only place the two would naturally meet is next to the stairs.
