Does it blend well with the floor? If so, then you are tied to the color anyway. I think it looks good and your instinct re over the range is right. The tile is crisp and clean looking and I personally prefer it to the one on the left. Pretty kitchen.

I love the flower tile too! wow. will bring some pattern, color, life to the very white room. just over the stove would be great -- don't think crackle or not matters for the rest, as long as they look ok side by side to your eye. (Wouldn't use the darker border tile, though, if you don't have to -- could use part of your white pattern as a border.)

Am I the only one who thinks you should use the flower tile over the entire back splash? I think everything else in your kitchen is neutral enough to carry it. It would bring nice drama and visual interest to the space.
