Hello, Best to speak with a hardwood floor installer for your unique installation. The reclaimed wood planks were sourced from a decommissioned Army barracks in the south over a decade ago.

Reclaimed antique pine makes great wide plank flooring. You can even see original circle saw marks across the plank faces. Beyond a flooring installer I would suggest talking to an actual custom plank flooring shop to learn more about these kinds of floors.

Wow, thank you so much for the information. I really love the way that the floor looks, and I think that it would look great in my house. Is this kind of hardwood floor pretty common? What I mean is do most flooring companies install flooring like this? http://jlgfloors.com

Talmage, floors like in the photo above are sourced from custom shops. They are not off the shelf products and require true specialists to produce and install.

To replicate this kind of floor you would want to use a custom hardwood or antique wood. Here is an example of Reclaimed Milled Barnwood that would give you a similar look. Our website would be a great place to start looking for ideas: www.wideplankflooring.com..
