You are very kind to write such words about my work. This house took many years to complete, and the fabrication of the custom furniture also took almost a year! So, there was a great deal of sweat and effort to realize the house, and the builders did a fabulous job.

Just gorgeous! I think your roofing contractor loved you. Your work really communes with the environment. Can you share information about the foundation (is it stem wall), radiant system, and finished concrete treatment? Thank you.

I am very happy that you like the house. I have attached a link to all the photos. The bedroom wing has conventional concrete foundation walls, which go up about 5-ft above grade so that the concrete can act as a back-up wall for the stone cladding. In the living pavilion, there are pad footings under each of the exposed steel columns which lift the house about 7-ft above the ground. The entire house has concrete floors with radiant heat. The floors were first poured, then finished with a custom color veneer MILESTONE finish. For more info on MILESTONE, go to Artisan Finishes website.

This is such helpful information. I hadn't found another veneer than Skraffino or Param, and we're doing stem walls, concrete (lightweight but not gypcrete), radiant floors, and I wanted a concrete finished floor. This gives me another option to consider. Thank you!!
