I don't know about everything else, but bamboo tends to be pretty vigorous. Even when you think it's dead new shoots start coming up... I think they'll probably be okay, but we don't get below freezing temperatures where I live so I'm no expert. Hopefully someone else can help you better than I can. Best of luck!

well just the names bamboo or passionflower don't give us a clue as to what it is you have.. there are some that are more hardy.. but here in zone 7... really maybe zones 3-10 on the roof... the biggest problem on the hardy varieties are the warming up and refreezing in the late winter.. they are ok till it gets prematurely warm and it gets the juices flowing to be hit by the night freeze again and again.. the best advice I could give is to mulch or wrap the planters so they don't pick up too much heat too soon.. ease them out of their dormant state... and you'll have the greatest chancce of success.. So, how did it go, I hope your plants did all right! You can wrap your planters in old blankets, and then wrap them in white plastic. The plastic keeps the blankets dry (if they get wet, they can't really hold a steady temperature, so make sure you tug the plastic underneath the blanket).
