evening scented stock (matthiola bicornis)- rangey little flowers that are scented at night

virginia stock (matthiola maritima) about 5" tall, for ground cover...I've never grown them.

giant and dwarf stocks (matthiola incana) are the ones that smell like cloves, on sturdy stems. They love cool weather and usually die in summer heat, so start them very early or buy them at the nursery for a scented treat in early spring.
