The obsession has started again!
Went to the farmer's market last Friday and spotted this pineapple sage. It's the first time I've seen one, and when I smelled the leaves I just had to have it!
I've been reading in the other garden forums that pineapple sage is not hardy and probably won't survive a zone 6 winter. So I'll enjoy it from now until the fall and I'll see if it can be overwintered. The color of the flowers are so intense.
