They are new, but as a commercial grower, I have seen them for a year, and had some in containers this past summer. They are pretty nice - many SMALL flowers, great in my mixed containers

Just wanted to let you know that Jung's Seeds has Shock Wave Petunias for $3.95 a pack or 2 packs for $6.95 and there are 15 seeds per pack. Vessey's has them priced at $5.95 per pack for 10 seeds. I purchased two packs from Jung's. I am going to use Algoflash Fertilizer and hopefully they will do well in hanging baskets.

Hi there, I read with interest this post on Shockwave Petunias, I found a Wholesaler called Germaniaseed.com, 25 seeds 9.65, 50 seeds $14.95, more than Jung Seed, but since I also ordered from them many other seeds they ended up being the best price overall. Although they claim not to ship to people for individual use and only shp to commercial growers I've not had any trouble placing and receiving orders. They have the largest catalogue I've ever seen, ship to Canada, and shipping cost is modest. Worth checking out, specially for those that want a wide variety of seed options.

I bought seeds for all the new Shockwave colors and so far my favorite is the ivory.
They are all still looking good after almost 2 months of summer weather, but purple and ivory are the best performers. The other colors available are pink shades and pink vein.

And i know wave petunias are really pricey but you guys are paying too much for them!

That's where I bought them.. 10 seeds for $2.50, they arrived just a week after I ordered them (and I'm in Brazil!) and shipping/handling is just $1.50.

You should also take a look at Summer Hill Seeds.
Shipping to US and Canada is $3.00 and they have really nice prices. Also I always get free seeds every time I place an order there (seeds from their catalogue, not cheap ones!).

Hi there, yes I did see Summer Hill seeds after I placed an order from Germania Seeds and they are cheaper. I will be definetley trying them out next year. I ordered pink shades, so I'll keep in mind the other 2 colours after seeing these mid summer. I also ordered Opera Sumpreme Pink Morn, from another seed company, can't wait to see which are nicer looking! 6 more weeks and they should be in flower! Thanks Mauricio
