I never heard of "Petie Vine".There are many supplier that come & go.Most generally make wholesale cuttings from young vines at time of annual pruning, thus most of the trunks come from 3 to 5 year old wood. You might want to check out my grape page & if any further questions,I will try to help.--Z--

I might add that once grapes have their annual leaves, they can only be held indoors for no more than a week. When I show any indoors,I make it a practice to rotate them every 5 days.--Z

I recently received one of 800 Flowers.com wine Bonsai's and I love it.

However I missed a couple of days of watering while teh plant was in full sun indoors. 99 percent of the leaves have dropped...bummer....I am hoping it comes back soon.

But hey! You should love your Wine Bonsai...just a little more carefully than I am.
