I planted annual helenium last summer and loved them. Since I had never seen them in a garden center before, I ordered seeds for "Goldfield", because it sounds like and the picture looks like what I planted. (very scientific)

I am ready to start the seeds and now am in a quandary. The seeds are very tiny and the foliage was very fine. So is this like lobelia, where you plant several seeds to the pot so as to have a nice thick clump, or does each seed produce that nice bushy plant with fine foliage? Anybody know? I am always a little hesitant to disturb the roots of annuals by dividing them, unless I am pretty familiar with the plant. I called Park Seed, but this seed has been removed from their catalog (since January!) and the horticulturist was unavailable. (And I'm impatient.:) Thanks!
