Oh I forgot to mention that I live in Brazil and in a coastal city. Summer weather lasts from december to march.. because of the sea humidity there isn't much difference between day/night temperatures (nights in the 70s and days in the 80s although we do have some weeks with temperatures in the 90s) and we get a lot of rain.
March to november weather is really pleasant, some chilly nights and cool days, but no frosts.

I've never seen snapdragons marketed as heat tolerant, but all varieties seem to be able to withstand wide temperature swings. They do need water if rain is inadequate.

There are dwarf varieties (6-9" tall), like those in your picture, called "Magic Carpet", "Tom Thumb", "Peaches & Cream (bi-colors), "Floral Carpet", and "Little Gem". You should be able to find these wherever seed packs are sold. They also seem to be readily available wherever market packs of bedding annuals are sold.

Deadheading keeps the blooms coming; if the old bloom seed pods aren't pinched off, they won't readily set new bloom shoots.

I planted a pink dwarf snapdragon "Snapshot" last year and it did wonderful; even though we had a very hot and dry summer.

I planted Snapdragon "Candy Corn" last year, and it bloomed all summer, even when the temps reached 100. I was very surprised, and I installed a soaker hose to make watering them easier, but I was very pleased with their performance.
