No answer, but the same question. I have one white, one blue. Both were blooming to beat the band a couple of weeks ago, now both are in the same condition as yours (the blue more so than the white).

From what I've read, it should bloom all summer, well into fall; needs consistently moist soil, and should be fertilized weekly, with a high nitrogen food.

If all else fails, maybe I'll be able to collect some seeds ....

Mine are on their second flush of blooms. I cleaned all the dead flowers really good. They had all turned brown anyway. It was time consuming though. Anyway, you should see some tiny buds after all of that. It won't be long till it blooms again.

Deadhead bacopa?? There ain't enough time in the world for that :-D If that's what it takes, I think I'll replace them, tho I did love how they looked in full bloom.

LOL! Maybe you can shake em. Mines are in small pots, very small pots. Maybe they will still bloom when all the dead flowers fall off. I just did mine like that because I wanted more flowers fast.

Thanks for clearing up the green bacopa mystery. I was also wondering when, or if, they'd go again. They just don't compliment the purple heliotrope as an all green carpet.

Have similar situation with Bacopa...flowering in waves, however, I have several window boxes with it and some have NEVER bloomed. Any ideas??? In addition I have a few deck boxes that have bacopa and are infested with earwigs...would they effect the blooming? Will they hurt the plant? Am very new to this so any help would be great!

tricia - it could be the plants need to be more mature before those start flowering. The earwigs might be a problem as they can chew on the plants - usually at night. You can try to get rid of them by rolling up damp pieces of paper into cones and placing in the planters. Supposedly the earwig will crawl into the paper cone until it reaches the point section but can't exit because it can't turn around and apparently refuses to back out. You would then throw the cone away or dump the earwig out of it.

Meg- I think the cool weather had something to do with it.
When you 1st posted, we had just come out of a cool week. the temps went up & when you posted again that they were blooming again it was after it had warmed up again.

Well, that's my unscientific opinion.

thanks so much - never thought of a plant maturity issue...will give the earwig cone a try...really weird is that I have them in 3 locations (live in a condo) front entrance (full sun), balcony full to partial sun and garage entrance shade to partial sun...the ones on the balcony are the only ones flowering...using a 'bloom-boost' miracel grow which will hopefully help as well...

This page says they stop flowering at temperatures above 85 degrees.
