You can get a hose adaptor for the kitchen faucet - that's what I use. You unscrew the aerator from the faucet and replace it with the adaptor. I found mine in my local hardware store, and I'm sure you can find one in any of the box stores. A word of advice - take the hose and the aerator from your faucet so you can get the correct size.

Every time I need hot water, while the water's warming up I let it run into a bowl instead of down the drain, and then I dump it into a bucket. When I need to water the plants I bring the bucket outside. Not only do I only make one trip, I save water!
