B= Nasturtium
D = Black eyed susan vine
E = Cardinal climber
C = sweet pea
A = morning glory

all of the morning-glory seeds I have from my own garden, (I am holding them right now) look like E - that being said, someone sent me some that look like C.

re: cardinal vine: to me the seed look exactly like MG's...so I have to gather them at separate times so I know which is which.

Some morning glory seeds are tan. Cardinal climbers are always black when ripe. That would be E.

Nasturtium? a climber???

I have not seen that kind. They are usually good cascader and runners.
climber are three kinds:( Or the ones I know)

1- Have tendrills, like peas, cucumbers...
2- Wrap themself around host.Like morning glories, Honey sucles..
3- Stick to host, like most ivies( trumpet, poison, ...)

I don't think nasturtium fits into any of those categories.
Of course, you can guide them (train them?)

Cyrus, you are right. Thompson & Morgan has "nasturtium climbing mix" too, but in the description it says "'Climbing Mixed' lacks tendrils, but will scramble happily over trellis work, sheds, fences etc."

Another type of climber is like clematis, wrapping its leaf stems around a support, and I've had nasturtiums do this. They weren't climbing exactly, only scrambling through other things, but the leaves were wrapped around other stems as clematis do.
