Cute idea. I think what I'd do is to visit the on-line catalogs of some of the annual and perennial seed providers and do some 'window shopping'. Park Seed would be a good place to start; their catalog is pretty extensive. Go to the A to Z listings and begin scrolling.

Thanks rhizo, I have a stack of seed catalogs about a foot tall. It just seems daunting to go through them all. I posted this request on the Daylily, Perennial and Rose forums. Was shocked at the number of Daylilies with SciFi names. They are really enjoying the thread over there on daylilies. I'm planning the garden for next spring so I have plenty of time to look around just wanted to get a head start.
