I direct sowed seeds of rudbeckia, four o'clocks, primrose,bachelor's button and purple ruffle basil yesterday. I put some at .5 inch and some at .25 inch covered with soil.

This morning, we had a strong rain. I noticed that a small part of the bed was creating a puddle. Is it possible that seeds floated?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
