They are naturally adapted to early rising. No need to be concerned.

They always do this. I'm more concerned if they *aren't* breaking ground by February.

Perfectly normal. This year was actually the first year in 25 that I had nothing at all in bloom in February. Everything was a month late. It's blooming now, though, and is glorious.
