Impatiens walleriana cold hardiness???

I have another question about this late cold snap affecting much of the country.

I just planted a patch of healhty Impatiens walleriana from a cell-pack flat next to the house in a semi-sheltered area. Now they're predicting temps for the next 2 nights in the mid to low 30s. Should I worry about them? Protect them somehow? It's possible there could be frost.

Don't chance it, if you have frost warnings tonight, then yes, absolutely cover them up, Impatiens are very tender to frost. Do you have any old sheets, light blankets, towels? Whatever you use, don't use plastic to cover your plants.
