Hi, I hope your pots are outside. Soil pH is one of the least important things you need to concern yourself about here - just remember pines like to be a bit on the acid side (a lowish pH), but will do well in almost anything within reason, as will most plants and trees if other factors are done right. I don't know if there's such a thing as an ideal # for J. pines, or if anyone has a listing of such things, but your concerns should be the soil mix, the sun, and how and how much to water the trees.
