Weird. Round here (also zone 5) you can't swing a dead cat without tripping over places trying to sell them!

Is there a difference between "Waves" and Tidal waves? Just a different propagator? I think I had both last year. Of course I don't recall which one I liked more.

Waves: aggressive groundcover or trailer. Not much mounding habit. Up to 4' across.

Easy Waves: Mounding Habit. Gets about 10" high and mounds 2.5 - 3' around.

Tidal Waves- If given support of some kind, they will climb and create a hedgelike mound of petunias.

Wave Series: Marketed primarily in US
Surfinia: Marketed primarily in Europe, but can be found in the US now.

Interesting! Thanks for the info. A climbing petunia is new in my book. I can see putting one in a pot with a small trellis...or in a pot at the base of an arbor.

I bought more Waves than I needed for my hanging baskets. I was going to plant the rest in my garden. I'm not sure I want them go grow over everything else, though. H'mmm.
