I planted some small snapdragons last year, and they did really well. I left them over the winter, and they never really died or turned brown. In early spring, I cut off the tall stalks and left behind their bushy/leafy bottoms.

It appears that they are still alive, but will they grow stalks and bloom again this year? I hate to pull them out if there is a chance that they'll bloom. I'd take the wait and see approach, but my garden space is small, so I don't want to "waste" space on something that isn't going to bloom.

Anyone have any ideas of what I should expect?
