I see these flowers every year but never bought any. Wanting to plant today but not knowing what they are, not sure if they need sun or shade.

The plant is rather compact with tiny little purple flowers that open up kind of fluffy-like to make one large looking flower. The leaves are a dark green. If I could just get a couple possibilities, then I could research.

If only I had batteries for the camera.... :(
