Poor soil and full sun

I'm looking for annuals that will grow in poor soil and full sun. Even better if they can be sown directly. Are there any? Thanks.

Morning glories of all varieties. Some morning shade is preferable, and there should be something to climb. Morning glories prefer poor soil.

nasturtiums (they have bush varieties and climbing varieties)

Zinnas, & 4 o'clocks do very good in bad soil and lots of sun!

Vincas do wonderful in poor soil and sun.

Salvia farinacea (aka 'blue bedder salvia' or 'mealy-cup sage')
It is a perennial in my garden but would be perfect as an annual for you in the conditions you described. I've grown all of mine from seed - they are beautiful, tough plants and very easy to grow from seed. And they self-sow, too, but not in an invasive or thuggish manner.
