Every year I start Lisianthus from seed early Jan. When I put them out there will be some that have buds on rather long stems. As they bloom and are dead headed they develope thicker side stems that look great by the end of the summer. I am thinking of cutting these early stems with buds to develope a better presentation earlier . I hate to do this but think it may be worth the sacrifice. Any thoughts?
