Mine do well with either a couple of hours of morning sun, or sun after 4pm.

Don't forget to pinch them when they're about 8-12" tall, so they'll grow bushy and not tall and leggy.

I've never grown black coleus, so I'm not sure about its light requirements, but I expect it would be the same as other coleus.

I would harden them off before planting anywhere outside.

You can find your zone here. It's hard to give advice about light conditions without knowing where you are.

high .. very high water content .... they sweat ... transpire.. anything that increases the later will make them wilt ...

as to how much sun.. at what time of day .. that is the key ... keep them out of high heat sun.. aka mid to late afternoon sun ....

i presume with seedlings.. you have many .. push the boundaries ... but know that they flourish where the hosta and inpatiens do ... and that does not necessarily mean dark ...
