Yes, tried those last year and I ended up with half doubles and half singles. Pretty, tho.

I just planted some this morning. I like all cosmos so I will not mind if not all are double.

I started some yellow/gold seeds that I got as a freebie in a circular to buy a garden book and they have germinated very well. The leaves look more like a form of marigold though and they are to reach around 12"-24" high. I am anxious to see what will actually bloom. I have never seen this color in a cosmos. The Double Click tag said they can get 3'-4' high. I plant them in drifts in my perennial bed.
