tiny cosmos?

Hi! Have any of you ever seen tiny cosmos plants? I had a few show up and bloom in my planters at 6". Cute and orange! I've been gardening a LONG time and have never seen any in this plant family that are so small. Do I have something special here? I'm going to save seeds. Maureen

There is Cosmos "Lemonbird" and an orange form of it too. You can get seeds from Thompson Morgan. The plants get only about a foot high and wide. Some of my favorites. I would definitely save seed if you didn't plant them. Hybrids don't usually come true.
