Deadheading Salvia

Hi, I planted in my butterfly and hummingbird garden two varieties of Salvia that I am not familiar with. One is Marcus Salvia (Salvia nemorosa 'Haeumanarc')which has white flowers and the other is Snow Hill Salvia ( Salvia x sylvestris 'Schneehugel')which has purple flowers. The flowers on both plants, after a few weeks in the ground, have turned brown. Should I cut off the flower stalks in hopes of them reblooming or just wait, and eventually new flower stalks will emerge? Thanks for your help.
