Hello,

Jerry Misheks's? book of mine states something about centers of fused ficus dying out. Does he mean I will be left w/ a hollow tube of tree? Does this mean that it will be impossible to ever keep the apex that I have now? I have a tree, that Every couple of months, I add in some cuttings from a big plant that I have, so far its working great (yet still young). I guess what Im wondering, is, "can you do a formal or informal upright using the fusion method or do you have to accept being limited to a non-appex clump"
