Angela, you don't need the flash to show off the beautiful dark color of your Dianthus. They almost have a purplish tinge in the centers.

The Rosa Ballerina blooms are pretty. I like the singles where you can see the yellow "eye" in them.

Deer around here must think I didn't prune rose bushes enough earlier in the year...they ate them all to sticks.

Oh well, the foliage was horrible and I was sick of looking at it but they bloom even with bad foliage!

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one that sees yellow/cream in fresh Ballerina blooms. I love singles too. I'm glad I don't have to deal with deer....
