Although, my plants are large healthy and strong, they're NOT producing the full and fluffy flowers as pictured ... merely just a row or two of those large modified florets (proper word?) and a cushion centre ... NOT pretty at all! Moisture and growing conditions have been very good. Since these were placed in a prominent location, tomorrow I'm gonna hack them out and replace with some 'Julibee' marigolds ... excellent marigolds I might add! I LIKE these so much, that a few weeks ago I had simply cut several side stems and rooted these in water, then briefly potted them up ... now, I have large healthy transplants ... marigolds from cuttings, simple and easy! Yes, they are otherwise fast from seed, but this has supplied me with abundant, quick and free plants!
