About 15 years ago, a friend of mine who lived in MS, just south of Memphis, TN had a patch of garlic out by his garden. He said that it was wild and that he dug it up from in the bottom land that was just down from his house. As an adult, the garlic was wonderful to season with. As young plants (about the size of green onions) they had a wonderful mild flavor that complimented any type of greens.

My friend passed away about 10 years ago and the place where he lived (as well as the bottom land) has been claimed by suburban development.

If anyone out there has and would like to share some of this wild garlic or knows where I might find some, I would greatly appreciate it.

For trading purposes, all I have are seeds from my red crepe myrtles and seeds from some beautiful bright yellow marigolds that I grew this year.
