MG seeds are in little pods shaped like balls hanging on the vine where the flower once was.... first they look like green balls and later once they are dried they turn brown and dry.... just try carefully looking under the leaves and see if you can find any... I just started picking my seeds and I've been blooming for about a month.. once the Fall comes you will see them all over when you are taking the vine down... good luck

if I don't catch all the seeds will they re-seed and grow there? I really want to move them to a better spot? They are so dense now, I planted 5 packs this spring and I swear I had 100% germination. Big mistake. . . so there are bound to be some I missed.

In my experience, MG does re-seed, but not efficiently. Last year I had two 10 foot sections of fence covered with morning glory. This year a couple plants volunteered, and they seem to have grown from where the seed was most sheltered. That's in zone 6, so I would guess it's even less efficient in zone 5.
