Passion Vine doesnt bloom.

I have a very healthy passion vine that will not bloom.

Does it have to be pot bound?

Does it need special fertilizer?

Does it need to have two to have them bloom?

Please help.

I even kept it alive all winter in the basement so

it would bloom this year and nothing.

You probably overfertilized. Passionflowers are actually weedy in my garden. They've self-sown like crazy in a never-fertilized area of my yard and flowered heavily.

I just looked up their care and it says that they don't want too much fertilizer or they'll hardly flower, focusing instead on green growth. So next year give yours lousy soil and they'll be thrilled and so will you! Maureen
