As a Hort. student, Lobularia maritima (Sweet Alyssum)is the only one I'm aware of. There are variations of the plant such a purple, pink, rose etc.
It grows well in my dry hot summers and looks beautiful thru Thanksgiving. If it's left alone and not trimmed up once in a while it usually stays small. A little light trimming now and then and the plants grow to about 8 to 10" tall by 16" wide.

I didn't word my post very well. What I meant was that the Maritimum Tall is larger and cascades more than Crystal Snow, for example.

I have the same ones referenced in your link which states they grow to 4" by 1'.
They will get MUCH bigger (taller and wider) if given a light trim around the sides and top. You and I both must be doing that otherwise they would remain quite small and compact as described :)

Trimming makes a world of diffenence. I've only been able to find a couple of pkg. of this seed locally in all the years I've been gardening.

I've only had to plant them once...I'm gauranteed self-sown plants each spring :)
