I'm not sure if they're a good deal but if you decide to get them, you can pack them in peat moss and wait for early spring. Why take a chance when they could rot?

Oh, I see they don't tell which ones. There are errors in the culture requirements. Beardeds need full sun and well drained soil. NOT partial shade and moist soil!

Good deal or bad?
Not a good deal at all for mixed irises without names. You could end up with all purple ones, or all yellow ones, etc.

Is it too late to plant them in New England?
Yes, way too late to plant in your zone. They would have to be held over for spring planting, or else potted up and kept in a protected place. If irises are planted too late, and don't have enough time to properly root in, they will heave out of the ground with the many winter freezes and thaws.
