I grew Iberis years ago and my wife was very fond of it. This spring I seeded some in the greenhouse and have grown them on to one gallon size. They have not bloomed in the pots perhaps because they do not get full sun. I will keep them in the pots until next spring when I will plant them in a full sun location. I don't remember from the past when they bloomed or for how long, but they always seemed to be in bloom and remained a nice compact shape. Al

I checked my picture files and found a few (self seeded) ones that started to form seed pods around July 05. The start of the blooming period must be earlier than that. I am in SE Michigan.

Oooh, that's a pretty flower! Color and shape I want but not anxious to grow 2 annuals for blooms through late summer. Tempted to grow them just for places where perennials won't come into play until late June or early July.

I think Park's sells the variety called "Tahoe" that looks appealing to me..anybody familiar with that one? Never seen any lavender/purple candytuft..always white ones. Interesting!
