Do the Cosmos Picotee flowers come true to seed? I bought a packet of Cosmos Picotee; some are the edged Cosmos while others on same plant are the same size but a full red/burgundy color. I'm a seed saver and trade on GW.

If I just pick the edged Cosmos, will I get ONLY that color or will I ALSO get the red ones one the same plant, as I presently have? And vice versa--if I just pick the red ones, will I get just the red ones or ALSO the edged ones on the same plant? I believe that as the two colors are on the same plant, I will get both colors but need a confirmation one way or the other. Thanks for any help on this confusing message.
