We bought one in an antique shop after putting wire up my hubby lost or someone stole the thing .We had it at a post he went back it was gone.We did it because the neighbor kids were riding 4 wheelers on our land and we raise longhorned cattle.we didnt want ruts.so I lean towards stolen.........Farm stores like farm center,TSC,would have them.

THe link below is what I use. I found it for under $5 at a local feed/supply store. I use a set of fence pliers to pull the clip around the post and then over the fence wire, and then I use the tool to twist the wire. I used to use the hole on the fence pliers to do the twisting, but I found it easier to use this other tool, which is simply a piece of metal with three holes in it. Simple and basic, but much easier!

we use plyers, i have used a screw driver to wrap one side around the barbwire, but usually its easier an faster to use the plyers
