Electirc Poultry Netting

We have a nice laying flock of about 30 hens. We have been letting them day range using "semi" mobile coops that we lock up at night. But it is getting to be garden time and we need to keep the birds from the produce. The gardens are too large an area to fence, and we would like to keep the birds moving on fresh ground every few days.

I am thinking of using portable electric poultry netting, 48" high, w/ the pos/neg configuration to the weave. ItÂs from Kencove. We have a "mild" predator problem and thought the electric fence would be some added protection since the chickens will now be a little further from the house. It sounds as if it would be fairly easy to pull up and move every so often.

Has anyone used this netting before? How well did it hold up? Is it worth the money ($200 / 164Â with posts, charger not incl.)?

Thanks for the input!
