WANTED: Super Newbie=)

Hello!

I'm really new to gardening (I just started two nights ago, actually!), but, as I'm sure many of you can sympathize with, I've already completely fallen in love. I can't wait to get going! I don't have much money, but my super kind boyfriend bought me some seeds to help me get started.

I have:
Forget-me-not 'blue bird'
Chinese forget-me-not
Sweet pea (sweet dreams mix)
Hot pepper (hot mix)

I know it's not much, but I'm really hoping to make a few trades so I can have a bit more variety. I know I'm probably in way over my head here... but it's just so much fun. =)

Anyway, I love poppies of nearly any sort and would like to grow some lilac for his mom. I came across a few types of flowers I fell in love with as well: Johnny Jump-Up, White Datura, and something called Yarrow 'Paprika F2.' I'm also interested in edibles that won't take too much room to grow. I'm not very picky though, so if you have any sort of pretty, brightly colored flower or easy fruit/vegetable, I would be thrilled.

Sachaa, check out the GardenHoard website for free seeds. There a super kind lady offers 6 different seeds at a time from a huge collection of seeds for an envelop with 2 stamps. The seeds are from her or donated from other people.
