I am looking for the same thing! I have heard of using a ladder and painting it the color you like.

Several years ago my husband put in a 10' sections of fence in one corner of the garden. I have had so much fun with it over the years. Have grown peas,gourds,luffas,cucumbers,morning glories etc. I'm sure you will always find something to grow on it. Have fun gardening. Paula

If you can transport them, "cattle panels" make a nice arch or semi-circle.

I use remesh, either in sheets or in rolls.

And my favorite trellis is the old swing set, with trellis panel over the top for shade and the old porch swing.

Ask at a construction company if they have any cattle wire (used for driveways) left over. I made a entry arch going into my backyard with some. It has lasted years.

I second the ladder. I have to find a climber I want for mine as of yet, but I scavanged an old wood one from the trash to use. Actually, I am looking for two more. I am going to use one for each side, then the third will lay across the top to make an arbor.

I also saw a great small one made from old branches that were all nailed and tied together. It looked fabulous-she "garbage picked" them when neighbors did tree trimming, let them dry, then pieced it all together.
