Has anyone reused aisle runners in the garden? Our daughter was married a week ago and I thought it might work if I sewed some lengths together to make it wide enough for the square foot garden bed.

Other ideas:

bottom of pots to keep soil in & bugs out

under stepping stones to reduce weeds

I haven't tested it yet to see if water drains through it or how much light.

Anyone with experience or is it something we just toss?

I also thought my 5 year old niece who was the flower girl might like a length cut to be in her dress up box, so she could play wedding. She caught the bouquet by the way, which was a hoot. There were so many young ladies, but she was in front & Jessica threw it low.
