I've been getting mine from a local grower at the Saturday market. 4" pot for $1.50 and then near season's end $1. They spread so fast here that you don't need a lot. A friend last year plopped one in an 18" pot and by this summer they were spilling over the edge.

Wow, that is cheap! I've never seen them that cheap around here, even at the big chain stores. Unfortunately, mine don't spread that fast.

Great buy - I really appreciate working with small businesses who are willing to make a deal like that; no one else was going to buy the plants, you were willing to give them a home, and the business got a little bit of money for what would otherwise have been a complete loss.

I'm sure if a similar thing happened at a chain store, you'd have an employee saying "we don't have a bar code for pieces that fall off."
